Hello Sparkly friends! I have been itching to make Fairy Wands for the longest time now for my Etsy Shoppe, and today I must have been channeling JR Tolkien! I just love making these things, and the Pixies helped. Let me know what you think please!
When I got done with the wand, I decided to embellish a bottle! Heck, why not??? I made the cap to be a flower with a tiny butterfly, and just basically went kinda crazy from there! By the way, I do use lead free solder so don't worry about me getting brain damage...a blonde needs every bit she has!!!
I love the contrast of the wood, metal and glass on the wand. It's definitely a mind wondering beauty. Your mind wonders to a magical place when you look at it. The bottle is enchanting, like if it has special powers and you have to treat it gently. This would be a wonderful gift and normally I spend between $20-$40 on gifts. Hmmm I'm picturing it on my buffet table...that would look lovely!
